219-10 Journeyman Diesel Technician

Jubitz AMBEST Service Center has an opening for a Journeyman Diesel Technician with a minimum of 5 years diesel mechanic experiance. Shop hrs vary,7 days a week, shifts will vary. Requirement: weld, engine diagnostic ability, the ability to work on fuel, electrical & engine components, general mechanical abilities including brake, electrical & air systems w/ attn to detail, strong verbal, documentation skills, basic computer skills and safety oriented team member. Technician must be exceptional in diagnosing electrical and air problems for trucks. Strong customer service skills are a must.
Starting base DOE
• Hands on experience as a diesel truck mechanic in shop environment
• Extensive knowledge in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines
• Own your own tools
• DOT vehicle safety inspections & exp.
• Oil change & lube exp.
• Valid CDL (and must maintain a safe driving record)
